The Fire That Refines

The intensity of the refiners fire causes us to see what needs removed from our lives.

The heat is bringing the ugly out first.
That dark black useless dross that rises to the top that needs scraped off.

If we focus on it, we will miss the beauty of what lies beneath the surface.
It is when it is scraped off we see what remains.
Precious metal in its purest form.

It is in the heat of the moment that
Motives are revealed.
Truth is tested.
Covenants are tried.
Obedience is put on trial.
Faith is pressed on.
Humility is inspected.

The hardest test of our character always comes just before our greatest blessing.

It always comes just before another level of revealing.
God always allows us to be purged before the next thrust.

Many times we do not like the instrument God uses to try us.
We do not like the fact God uses people to prove us.
God uses leaders to correct us.
God still uses authority to align us to His purpose.

What fire is trying us?
What instrument is being used to see if we are who we say we are?
What person is God using to stretch our character and bring the final breaking so we can ultimately be made?

Where has God placed authority in and over our lives to help correct our vision?
To help prune us so that we can bear more fruit?

It is in this place of pain where if we endure we will have the most gain.

We must bear the cup of affliction.

We must endure as a good soldier.

We must not grow weary in well doing.

Many times it is in this place of refining that our vision becomes blurry.
We cannot really see what we are to do or where to go.
We grope around darkly or dimly.
The old had blinded us and we must now allow the cleansing to look through new lenses.

What new thing is the Lord doing to prepare us for Greater Works?

As selfish ambitions and dreams are tried and exchanged for His, we can feel a loss of identity.

We must allow the complete breaking and separation from all uncleaness, unclean spirits. lust, lies, deception, ungodly soul ties, perversion, familiar spirits to be thrust into the next level of relationship and authority with the Lord.

It is in this place of trying in the fire that proves our love for Him.

We will either embrace the fire and be purged or run out and cling to the familiar places and things of darkness.

We are in an hour of extreme cleansing.
Every crooked part of our lives is being tested to see if we will allow the King of kings to straighten it out.

We cannot say we love God and disobey Him.
Every root of rebellion is being challenged.
Every lie is being exposed.
Every deed of darkness brought to the Light.

A GREAT REVEALING is upon us.

Many will not make it to their COMMISSION because of dismissing the voice of warning.

By dismissing the Word of correction, we prove we have not understood His love for us.

Instead of coming out of darkness, many continue to unite with it instead of challenging it.

The SPIRIT OF COMPROMISE has settled on the people of God and  it is NOW THE TIME of SHAKING IT OUT!

We must REPENT and ADMIT our unwillingness to fully obey His Word and the leading of His Spirit.
If we do not, we will never enter into the FULNESS OF HIS GLORY.

We must REPENT of COMPROMISE!

The Lord will not compete with us setting ourselves up as idols.
The Lord will not compete with the thoughts and things we exalt as idols.

Everytime we compromise we allow something that should have been cast down to exalt itself above the knowledge of God. When we agree with it, we lower our position by not holding to the standards of the Lord.

Have we devalued ourselves and cheapened ourselves to receive less than His promises and blessings?

Have we agreed with another thought or spirit and made it of more value than God and His Word?

REPENT!

The Fire is upon us to get us into place.

To get us to fall in love with Him all over again.
Dont run from it .... EMBRACE IT!
OUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!

MY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!

CRY OUT and SPARE NOT!
CLEANSE ME! PURIFY ME!

Presumptive Faith

Presumption becomes a destructive tool for the enemy to use when it is camouflaged as permission or faith.

Many well meaning saints fail the discernment test and then blame God for falling or failing.

The enemy knows how to pull on lust.
The enemy knows how to pull on ambition.
The enemy knows how to pull on pride.
The enemy knows how to pull on our insecurities.
The enemy knows how to pull on our desires.

Even though we say we desire to serve the Lord, that part of us that has not died still desires to serve itself.
It is that uncrucified part of us where the enemy places his demonic seed.

A little lie disguised as the voice of God or even the voice of reason to feed our ego to get us off course. There we go chasing decption.

The Word says in
1 Timothy 6:10 (KJV)
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Notice
1. The Love of money is a root of all evil.
2. They coveted it.
3. Those who love it err from the FAITH
4. They PIERCE THEMSELVES THROUGH with MANY SORROWS.

Their own ungodly love and desire caused them to pursue someone or something for money .
It created their own destruction and pain.

LEVIATHAN is known as that crooked, twisting PIERCING SERPENT that is the king of the children of pride.
Pride pierces others around it, yet in the end it really hurts ones own self.

It is a self destructive force that hinders, quenches, grieves, strives and fights against the Holy Spirit.

Selfish ambition, wrong motives, perversion, twisted doctrine, doctrines of devils, lying spirits, familiar spirits, lust all serve as doors to create a presumptive belief system.
Instead of changing to line up with the Word one relegates and equates God onto their level of understanding to justify wrong doing.

It is this level of presumption that ties in with self justification that puts misguided faith into action.
We will give way to ungodly desires, wants, lusts etc ... believing God is ok with it and understands.

Here is an example.
During the time of battles David did not go out but stayed in Jerusalem.
 2 Samuel 11.

He saw Bathsheba and lusted and coveted after her.
David sinned against the Lord with Bathsheba.
He had her husband Uriah killed.
In this process she conceived a child.

After the prophet Nathan exposed David, he repented.
Yet this did not mean all was going to now be roses. There were repercussions for Davids actions.

Even though Nathan tells David his sins were forgiven and he would not die vs 13 .... there were strong judgments.

The Lord would raise up evil against David.
The Lord would take away his wives and give them away.
The sword would never leave his house.
It is judgment on what had been created from murder, lust, and covetousness.

2 Samuel 12:14  Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.

Our obedience is a buffet to the rebellion in others.Especially when we have years of steadfast character.
When we disobey it opens the door of accusation against us and causes open blaspeme from the God haters towards God.
It is used as a reason why they do not believe, serve or obey.
Romans 2:23-25

One aspect of the word blaspeme means to cause the Name if the Lord to come to no affect.
Meaning we can say one thing but how we live says another.
This causes unbelief in others which in turn creates blaspeme.

At the Word of the Lord through Nathan the child was struck with sickness
For seven days David pleaded to the Lord and fasted to no avail.
God was using this situation through David to show the repercussions of sin.
Even though you did this privately I am making this an open matter to put fear and reverance into the hearts of man.

12  For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.

After the child died (a son)
David worked to reposition himself with the Lord.

2 Samuel 12:20  Then David arose from the earth, and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his apparel, and came into the house of the LORD, and worshipped: then he came to his own house; and when he required, they set bread before him, and he did eat.

He came to his senses. He knew he had to come into alignment.
Psalm 51

He somehow got out of place yet he knew he was going to still have to love the LORD even with these now implented judgments.

What are we pursuing?

Do we have presumpive faith to believe everything will just be ok because we want someone or something?

Do we believe God will not see?

Do we believe He will make exceptions just for us?

Do we think a particular scripture applies to everyone else but us?

David pierced himself with many sorrows.

David had been given so many things.
1 Samuel 12:7  And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;
8  And I gave thee thy master's house, and thy master's wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things.
9  Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight?

No one gets exceptions or a pass when they sin against the Lord.

NO ONE!

God would have given David even more had he not sinned.
What has God given us?

What more could He give us if we stay humble, faithful and obedient?

Do not be presumptious saints!

Hold on to
Loving the Lord
Worship
Holiness
Righteousness
His Word!

The Lord has more for us if we do not compromise.

Humbly Positioned

Saints, we should never become so elevated or high minded in our authority that we dismiss the people who supported us on the way to our promotion.

Some people prayed, others encouraged us, some sowed and many endured with us while we were in the making.

When we look at King David, we see a beautiful picture of what happens when we bring the best out of individuals in the hardest of situations.
Those men and women became loyal to David. When He became king he still treated them honorably and with integrity not degradingly.

When we are lifted up, our cry should be to raise others up as well.
Christ prayed John 17 that the Glory He had with the Father would be GIVEN to the Apostles and cause all who believe to become ONE.

The Messianic prayer of Hannah is powerful. She prayed prophetically.
1 Samuel 2:8  He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he has set the world upon them.

400 destitute impoverished individuals came to make David captain in the cave of Adullam. We also see where David received 200 servants when Nabal passed away.
David is up to 600 plus men including women that became a foundation for his future position as king.
300 of David's Valiant Men came out of the hardest of seasons with David with their lives.

It was King Saul who had brought this stress upon the entire land. They all had things in common with being stolen from, used and being chased.
When we can see that we all have the same enemy working to destroy us, it would be better that we learn how to work together instead of apart.

The prophet Samuel had warned the people what Saul would do.
1 Samuel 8:9 -22

Saul used the people and forgot his lowly start.

He was king and had everything he could want. Yet he abused his position and brought distress upon the people.

It was the Lord who had turned Hearts to serve both King Saul and David. As Leaders it would do us well to remember that many times God starts our favor off by causing hearts to turn towards us.
It is up to us though to conduct ourselves righteously that we may maintain the favor and continue to grow in it with the people that the Lord has turned towards us so that we may turn them towards Him.

When the Lord favors us and anoints us, that means we've been chosen for a special task.
It doesn't make us more special than other people in a prideful way. It makes us more responsible to serve others humbly.

David used his authority to bring relief, healing and protection to his people.

2 Samuel 5:12 And David realized that the LORD had confirmed him as king over Israel and had blessed his kingdom for the sake of his people Israel.

We must realize the Lord has appointed and anointed us into positions and places not for ourselves but for the people that we are called to serve.

King David was the only King who was able to unite northern and southern Israel. It is such a beautiful picture of the Messianic Kingdom that will unite all tongues, tribes and Nations together under the banner of the one true King.

If we can suffer together and not fall apart or away from each other, then we qualify to reign and serve each other from the heart.

Time For Increase

Let the God in you arise!
Genesis 13:17 Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee.
The first mention of the word arise comes from Genesis 13:17. The amazing thing about this passage
of scripture is that it was God actually enlarging Himself in the Earth through the promise given to Abraham.
When the Lord gives territory it is so we can have a greater level of influence than we previously had.
We are in an hour when we need as much land as we can get, for this means we have that much more authority and power to make decisions that are for Him and His Names sake. What is the sphere of influence we have been given and are we using it in every way to advance the Kingdom.
Most people can hear the word arise and will not believe they can receive.
The prodigal said it
Lu 15:18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
Jesus commanded a sick man
Mr 2:11 I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.
Paul says it
Eph 5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
It is time to arise!
Isa 54:1 Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
Isaiah 54:2 When the Lord desires to give increase we must prepare to make some changes to house what He wants to do.
Verses 2-3: Would this level of increase scare us? That the increase would be so quick and great that we have to remodel our houses? Maybe our churches or maybe our jobs? An unbelievable increase and multiplication by the Word of the Lord.
• Enlarge the place of thy tent
• let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations
• spare not
• lengthen thy cords
• strengthen thy stakes
In this passage of scripture we should look to see converts coming into a place that we have prepared to lodge them.
If it was prophesied by Isaiah then we can rest assured that somewhere, somehow, someway as we stand and agree with God and His Word that He will give increase to His Bride.
So get a hammer, pound those stakes in, and get ready to secure your new position.

Jesse

The Independent Spirit

We must get free from having an independent spirit and identity when it comes to the Kingdom of God.

One definition of independent is as follows.
1. Free from the influence, control or determination of others or others specifically free from the rule of another, controlling or governing oneself, self-governing.

When it comes to the Government of God, we are not able to be without government because He is Sovereign over us.
After 28 years of salvation and many years of ministry, I see the same cycles over and over again when it comes to the Body of Christ.
Individuals feel a new and fresh anointing come upon them and they want to run and do an independent work instead of learning how to work in the Church and Corporate Body.
Jesus said and Upon This Rock I will build my church.
Many individuals look at themselves and say "well, I am the church."
The truth be told though, there's an aspect of the church that many individuals never connect with when it comes to the corporate gathering of the  believers.
It is one aspect to have Fellowship, it is another to understand that the church is to grow into a governmental structure where individuals are set in a Presbytery that brings accountability, direction, inspection, correction, protection, etc.

In this day we have many independent spirits operating  in the Name of Christ.
When this type of spirit, personality, and attitude operate, individuals that come into their company develop a standoffish and stand alone position especially against what many term organized religion or the institutionalized Church.
We must understand, if there is a counterfeit, then there is a genuine. Even though we may have been wounded by what we have experienced, we must still cry out for the genuine.
We must seek and search out for that which is an authentic representation of the Government of God in the Earth
Imagine the first century Apostle's feeling a call on their life and deciding that they didn't need to work together.
Many times we miss the fact that the reason why our anointings activate is because we connect with certain offices and giftings.
I have personally seen individuals come under the mantle and covering of an apostle or prophet and they were able to flow and operate as long as they were connected with that man or woman of God.
Then, suddenly Pride would set in and they would say I can do this without them. Little did they realize that the flow that was coming upon them was in part  because they had a covenant with a set man or set woman.
We must watch out for that independent spirit that connects with pride that says we don't need one another. Especially when it comes to those who have been set in the Church by the Lord.
I've heard many times individuals say, "I don't need that person and I do not need that leader for me to be who God has called me to be."
We must watch out for the subtlety of pride. If the Lord allows certain leaders to be in our life and they are not in sin teaching heresy, then there is something they had to offer to us that we needed for our growth and development.
In Acts 19 we see a group of individuals who only developed in a revelation of John's baptism. John's baptism was a baptism of repentance.
When the apostles asked what baptism had they been baptized in they said John's.
They had remained stuck in that position anywhere from 13 to 16 years. The revelation was important for its season. Unfortunately they had never progressed while many others around them had already moved on.
See what happens when an individual runs into a real Apostolic company of individuals that are working together?
That group got filled with the Holy Spirit after waiting so many years for a promise that had already been fulfilled.
They just had not ran into the right individuals who could speak it into their life.
When we learn how to work interdependently the independent spirit will break and we will learn how to lift each other up to help each other move in maximum capacity.
Instead of the spirit of fear operating where many individuals feel they will be shut down from flowing in their gift and anointing they will now find leadership that wants them to excel and even flow in a double portion.
We must pray for a true governmental order that allows for offices, gifting and personality to flow to develop because the scripture is clear
in Isaiah 9:7 when he prophesied
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Until then, many will stay stuck in muddy spiritual waters in life and ministry.
We can be holy and miserable because we're not flowing together. If we don't grow together we cannot flow together!
Ask yourself, "where did I last really feel the glory?"
Ask yourself, "where did I last feel my gift most activated?"
Ask yourself, "where did I feel last released to be who God has called me to be?"
That just might be your tribe!
Don't let fear, pride, gossip, rumors, familiarity to cause you not to shift when the Holy Spirit is showing you it's time to move from an independent spirit to an interdependent working together.
The time is now!
In His Love,
Jesse #KingdomReign

Church Shopping

CHURCH SHOPPING:

Ok, so did the title get your attention?
Good, I hoped it would.

Now with that, I would like to present some very important points in this post about looking for what many would call  a home Church or Fellowship.

There are going to be some key things one will want to look for when considering where they will worship, pray, learn and fellowship.

Before reading this list, analyze how old are you in the Lord.
A baby Christian will have different needs and duties than a mature believer.
At some point, one should move from sitting to doing.

Once you are mature, would the ministry you are looking to attend allow for your gift and make room for it? Sometimes there is a time to sit and wait by taking the low seat.
One can also share their heart and share with leadership the burden they have and how they would like to serve.
Healthy leadership has the mandate to protect the Body, yet see where other gifts, anointing and offices might be able to function as a compliment to the Church.
Do everyone a favor and be honest about your character and nature.

Here are a few things to consider from a Kingdom perspective.

The one top question is, are you being led by the Holy Spirit there?
Is there an over emphasis on focusing on the Devil or are they more focused on Christ?
What is the vision of that Church?
What do they teach?
Is it Biblically sound?
Do they teach from both Old and New Covenant?
Do they believe in discipleship?
How do they Worship?
Is is soulical or spiritual in nature?
Do they sing about the Lord or sing to Him?
Does the Glory of God abide with them?
How is their love level?
How is their peace level?
How is their joy level?
Do they preach Holiness?
Do they live holy?
Are they friendly?
Are they kid friendly?
Are they judgmental or critical?
Does leadership belittle others or other churches?
Is there a sense of pride as if they are the elite?
Are they humble in spirit?
Is there a spirit of meekness?
Do you sense a spirit of genuine forgiveness in operation?
Do they believe in missions?
Are they equipping others to send?
Do they believe in reaching their community?
Are they religious or flow in grace?
Do they believe in the Holy Spirit having His way?
Do they allow gifts to flow?
Do they prophesy?
Do they believe in deliverance?
Do all offices function or are they headed in that direction?
Does the ministry allow women to preach and minister?
Does the minister sow honor or only receive honor?
Do they believe in a team mentality?
Do they love Israel?
Does the ministry have financial integrity?
What is their view on giving?
Do they believe in tithing, offering, and alms?

CAN YOU HEAR JESUS IN THE LEADERSHIP?

CAN YOU FEEL JESUS IN THE CHARACTER OF THE LEADERSHIP?
Do you feel a Kingdom connection and kindred heart and spirit with the leadership?
Could you honor the leadership?
Could you serve and cover them?
Do you feel they have a genuine care for your heart and soul?

Remember, no one is perfect yet they should be being perfected.

This is a small list of thoughts on the topic.

Anyone reading this, please feel free to add Scripturally sound advice on what to look for when looking for a Church, ministry or fellowship.

In His Love,
Apostle Jesse

Profitable

Fathering Insights from the Book of Philemon.
Paul stood as an Apostolic father to send Onesimus back to Philemon who may have been either Onesimus employer or master.
Philemon had a church in his house, which made him either a Bishop or a Pastor in function.
Now Onesimus had left and somehow had come to be one of the Apostle Pauls converts.
He become a SON to Paul.
He became PROFITABLE in assisiting Paul in the work of ministry while Paul was imprisoned or in chains as he states.
Yet Paul had to do something that was very challenging for him to do. He had to send Onesimus back to Collose so he could be restored and reconcile with Philemon.
Now some folk may not see how deep this is, but this is a pivotal place in many peoples lives.
1. Apostle Paul did not have many workers who helped him. Onesimus became a son and was dear to his heart. He was sending him not only to RECONCILE, but to be USEFUL in the work of ministry to Philemon.
Paul does not invoke his authority as an Apostle, but instead appeals to the heart of Philemon to say help make this situation well with Onesimus. Put it to my charge any wrong he has done you and I will pay it to you.
Paul says Onesimus was once UNPROFITABLE to you, but now he is profitable to both me and you. Because you honor me as an Apostle, receive him as you would my own heart.
NOW THAT IS AN APOSTOLIC FATHER!
2. Onesimus - he had left Collose under not so good of a situation. It is inferred  that he stole from Philemon. He would have had that hanging over him like a dark cloud. Fear, guilt, shame, condemnation etc...
He receives Christ as Saviour and becomes a follower of The Way. He becomes Pauls son in the Gospel.
Paul sees his growth and development and knows he needs to be able to be forgiven and restored to continue in his walk with the Lord with a clear conscious.
This is a big moment for Onesimus. It is a return to a place he would not have gone back to had the Apostle Paul not stood as an ADVOCATE and a voice on his behalf.
What a beautiful picture of Jesus ministry of RECONCILIATION to our Father.
Paul also admonishes the Church in the Book of Colossians to receive him. This is also and APOSTOLIC SENDING in releasing Onesimus to go FURTHER in ministry and not just serving the Apostle himself.
He became PROFITABLE for the Kingdom.
3. Philemon- having a church in his home caused him to be well reported of for faith and love. His name means affectionate.
This is wonderful picture much like the prodigal returning to his father. In this case though Onesimus leaves as a servant and returns as a son. Now Philemon is being tried in his heart to receive Onesimus back and to allow him to work as the Senior Apostle has VALIDATED him.
There is more that can be pulled from the text, but the key is setting people free.
The whole moral of this message is LOVE, FORGIVENESS and RECONCILIATION.
Fathers to sons, sons to fathers
Mothers to daughters, daughters to mothers
Brothers to sisters, sisters to brothers
Sisters to sisters, brothers to brothers
Lets be and do better
In His Love,
Apostle Jesse

Green Apples (Undeveloped Prophetic Ministry)

One day while in prayer the Lord spoke to me about the current rise in what has been termed "PROPHETIC MOVEMENT"

It was disturbing and saddening all in one.

One part is that if we are going to say PROPHETIC MOVEMENT, then we must FIRST recognize the ONE who is moving in our midst to give utterance, meaning the Holy Spirit.
When we hear about prophecy, we should see if it is accompanied with the WORSHIP of God and The TESTIMONY of Jesus.

We should also discern if the people or person is seasoned, sent and set by God.
Rev19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

We either have a prophet under instruction prophesying
Amos 3:3-8

A gift prophesying 1 Cor 13:2

or the spirit of prophecy where all are prophesying.
Number 11:25 1 Samuel 10:10 & 1 Samuel 19:20-24

The over emphasis on prophecy has caused abuse and misuse in this function.
There is a great misunderstanding even in the purpose of prophecy.
Because of so many hungering for experience and or a word many have begun to eat the words of novices.
The Lord said these were "GREEN APPLES" feeding His people.
The undeveloped gift and or office, immature character
and even motive of ministry causes individuals to eat these GREEN APPLES.

Unripened, sour and bitter fruit being fed to the people of God has created malnutrition and underdevelopment in those who go and hear these preachers and get a word.

When GREEN APPLES are eaten in the natural they are sour and become hard. This can lead to digestive discomfort produced by the green unripened apples' excessive ethylene gas.
GREEN APPLES mean well when they PREACH and PROPHESY BUT CAUSE GREAT IRRITATION TO THE BODY of CHRIST.

They create SPIRITUAL INDIGESTION in the believers.

It is because they are unripened and trying to be something before their time they produce pain in others.
This is a dangerous place to be before the Lord because of ZEAL without WISDOM.
SAINTS, do not allow charisma and enthusiasm to be more of an influence than MATURITY and CHARACTER.
Mature fruit will nurture you without giving you an upset stomach.

EAT WITH WISDOM SAINTS!

In His Love,
Apostle Jesse

Sons of the Fire

Psalm 12:6
6  The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

Fire comes because of who we are and what we stand for at times.
When we are getting ready to be put into the fire, not only are we being tested or tried, but so is the Word of God.
When we say we trust God and take Him at His Word, we are now also including the Lord in the test.
The Word of God is pure and He refines His own Word to perfection (7 times)

We must be refined to be defined.
We are being made ready to carry a purified Word.
Only when we are in the Fire can it be seen if we are pure and founded in His Word.

Ready For the Fire

1. We must purpose to not be defiled
Daniel 3:15-18
15  Now if you are ready whenever you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music to fall down and worship the image which I have made, good; but if you don’t worship, you shall be cast the same hour into the middle of a burning fiery furnace. Who is that god that will deliver you out of my hands?”

16  Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered the king, “Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.

17  If it happens, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace; and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.

18  But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image which you have set up.”

We declare we will not bow down and worship false gods and idols.

2. Worship In the Fire
Daniel 3:23
23  These three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the middle of the burning fiery furnace.

We bow down in the fire and worship the True and Living God.

3. Walk In the Fire
Daniel 3:25
25  He answered, “Look, I see four men loose, walking in the middle of the fire, and they are unharmed. The appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods.”

We bowed down bound and rise up to walk with the Son of God.

4. Come Out of the Fire
Daniel 3:26
26  Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spoke, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you servants of the most High God, come forth, and come here. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.

We are called out of the test. Come Forth! Listen for your name to be called.

5. Become the Fire

When the Hebrew boys came out of the fire they never spoke. Instead we see the king Glorifying their God.

Daniel 3:28
Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

The one who had been with them in the Fire had already convicted and convinced the king and those present.
They went forth with a silent preaching as Sons of the Fire who walked with the Son of God in the Fire.
They became a sign of Gods Fire in the Earth and went forth as a lamp revealing there is none greater than their God YHVH.

We are to be "Sons of the Fire"

Discerner of Thoughts and Intents

To many times, people are deceived by 100's of false confirmations because their heart is already set on what they want to do.

Instead of seeking out a TRUE WORD from the Lord, they seek out people who will confirm their own plans and desires. They will avoid anyone who will whole heatedly search out a matter and instead look for YES PEOPLE.
When the ONE TRUE WORD of the LORD comes to correct the error of hundreds of false words, it is with the purpose of setting the crooked path straight.

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The WORD is a DISCERNER of the THOUGHTS and INTENTS of the HEART.

DISCERNER- is the word kritikos where we get the word critical. The Word has the ability to help make decisions in the heat of the moment when it is a life and death situation and it is CRITICAL! Also the Word is DISCRIMINATIVE which means it is used to MAKE DISTINCTIONS. The difference between right and wrong, Holy and unholy, pure and impure hang on whether the Word says what is. The WORD is the only true way in which to test everything else.

So the Word comes to DISCERN the THOUGHTS meaning the DELIBERATION and DEVICES of the mind. This is careful consideration before a decision is made so that a person can understand what they are thinking and why.INTENTS- meaning, having a MORAL UNDERSTANDING behind why and how a persons HEART operates the way it does.  Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?  Meaning the heart is incurably sick.

When the wickedness of a persons heart rises, they are blinded by the decisions that they make because of the desires that they have. Pride, ambition, lust, envy, jealousy etc ... all serve to blind a person in their discernment. This is when the Word must come to PIERCE and DIVIDE  between SOUL and SPIRIT and JOINTS and MARROW.It must first PIERCE, meaning to REACH THROUGH or PENETRATE into the inner core of a person in their thoughts. When the Word pierces, if a person will hear the TRUTH that is presented to them, it will CUT or SEPARATE between that which is soul ( the mind, will, emotions of the carnal man) and spirit (the part of us that communes with the Holy Spirit) The Word will divide between TRUTH and LIES.

To Divide between JOINTS and MARROW means symbolically that which moves the Body and that which supplies nourishment to the Bones that forms as a frame for the Body. The Word will come and DISCERN what is trying to move the Body and what is trying to give food or what kind of nutrition is being fed to the structure. When false words come and begin to feed the supply of nutrition to the bones, the joints begin to move in motion. It takes a true word to get into the MARROW which represents the most inner part of the bone. Even as the spirit is the most inner part of a man, if it gets in line with the will of God, it will move the Body or the Soul of a person into proper position.

When the King of Israel sought out whether to go to war or not in 1 Kings 22 all 400 prophets answered and said it is well. Yet when Jehosphat asked if there was another who could inquire of the Lord, The King of Israel says there is one named Micaiah who never speaks well of the King of Israel. When the prophet begins to speak truth, the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would prophesy no good concerning me, but evil? 1Ki 22:18Read the full story in 1 Kings 22 for yourself and see how a lying spirit works in conjunction with false prophets and rebellion.

Ones own desires will cause them to move against truth. No one can overthrow the Word of God.

It is better to have ONE TRUE PROPHET and ONE TRUE WORD then to have the APPEARANCE of success with 400 FALSE PROPHETS and FALSE WORDS OF VICTORY.

DISCERN WHAT IS IN YOU. YOUR VICTORY OR DEFEAT DEPENDS ON IT!

Apostle Jesse

A Yesman or a Watchman?

Eze 3:17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.

Definition of a watchman- a guard who keeps watch.

Strongs- tsaphah, tsaw-faw' properly, to lean forward, to peer into the distance; by implication, to observe, await:-- behold, espy, look up (well), wait for, (keep the) watch(-man).

yesman- a person of unquestioning obedience.
A person who always agrees with his employer or superior.

A clear warning was given to the prophet Ezekiel. I have made thee a watchman. No one else but God Himself took this credit. Because it was the LORD who called and made Ezekiel a watchman, there were governing guidelines put in place to help Ezekiel understand who he was and what he was to do. It was also brought to his attention of what would happen if he did not do his duties.
Eze 3:18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

Ezekiel was told he would go to the wicked. Now look at who else he had to speak to,the righteous.
Eze 3:20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

What do we do when we have a fellow brother or sister who we hold dear begins to falter? Do we hold our tongue for fear of losing their friendship? Or do we stand as a watchman guarding the soul?
It would seem easier to go to a wicked person and show them their error. Yet what about an individual who seems righteous? Even our leaders who are over us. Nathan had to go to David. As a prophet Nathan was first subjected to God. If Nathan would have lost sight of who God is and what he was called to do, he very well may have become a yesman to David.

Yesmen are useful to God if they are fulfilling His will. Yet a yesman to man is unfit for the Kingdom if we bring ourselves to a loyalty to man over our loyalty to God. We must not become fearful of losing friends or position for speaking what we have been commissioned or commanded to speak to another. If we do, we will lose our place in the Kingdom of God.
Re 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

When Ezekiel did what he was commanded to do he was told he would be safe from guilt.
to the wicked
Eze 3:19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
to the righteouss
Eze 3:21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
Remember
  • We have been made by God. The word made in Hebrew is nathan or naw-than' The same name given to the prophet Nathan. Remember whose we are, we belong to God.

  • To hear is shamah meaning to hear intelligently.Often with implication of attention, obedience, to tell, call (gather) together, consider, be content, declare, discern, give ear, (cause to, let, make to) hear, listen, (be) obedient, obey, perceive, proclaim, publish, regard, report, sound, understand

  • Give warning zahar to gleam; to enlighten (by caution):admonish, shine, teach, (give) warn(-ing).
Let us become yesmen to God, that we may become the watchmen He made us to be.

WE MAY HAVE AGREED WITH MAN, BUT DOES IT AGREE WITH GOD?

Apostle Jesse

Time: Quality vs. Quantity

Ac 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Time- 1 a: the measured or measurable period during which an action, process, or condition exists or continues : duration b: a nonspatial continuum that is measured in terms of events which succeed one another from past through present to future
2: the point or period when something occurs : occasion
3 a: an appointed, fixed, or customary moment or hour for something to happen, begin, or end (arrived ahead of time) b: an opportune or suitable moment (decided it was time to retire) —often used in the phrase about time (about time for a change)

Time, all of us face it everyday. We all get the same amount of it.
The question is what do we do with it?

All of us get 365 days a year, 52 weeks, 24 hours in a day.
There is a difference though in time. There is quantity of time and there is quality of time.

According to Acts 3:19-21 there are two different periods of time. The one period of time is what is called chronos. The other period of time is called kairos.

Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times (kairos) of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

According to Strong's 2540 kairos kahee-ros' is an occasion, set or proper time, opportunity, a convenient or due season, (due, short, while) time, a while. This is quality of time.

Ac 3:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times (chronos) of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

According to Strong's 5550 chronos, khron'-os is a space of time (in general, and thus properly distinguished from 2540, which designates a fixed or special occasion.

We have 365 days in a year. This is length or quantity of time. This is the chronos that sets parameters for a given year. Within that year though there are individual days. The days that are designated as set or special days like anniversaries, birthdays, celebrations are quality of time or kairos. The same way it is in the natural so it is in the Kingdom.

We are in the dispensation of grace. From the work of Calvary until the end of the age there is access to the throne of grace to receive salvation. From the beginning until the end is length of time or quantity.Through repentance many individual though will have a quality moment.

The scripture says when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
the word refreshing means properly, a recovery of breath, revival.

Just like a person who would drown in water so are people drowning in sin. Just like water has to be removed from the lungs to let oxygen in to save a life so must sin be removed to save a soul.
When we repent it removes what keeps us from breathing spiritually and allows the breath of God back into our lives. These moments of refreshing are literally little revivals happening on the inside of the individual.

There is a set period of time where the Lord is desiring to restore all things.
After He restores the soul He wants us to have many mini revivals on the inside of us.
The word restitution also means reconstitution which means to recompose or to return.
When we are reconstituted we are literally receiving the constitution of the Kingdom to become aligned with the Father and His Word. We receive the Government of the Kingdom and His Law becomes the rules we operate by.
We are coming back to a justified state of being to be in the same state of being as the Son of God.

How many of us know that humanity is in spiritual dehydration as is the Body of Christ. When we begin to repent the spiritual barriers that keep spiritual life away will be removed and new life will come.
We must cry out like never before so that spiritual deprivation will not be upon the land.

 Things to cry out for
  • repentance
  • times of refreshing
  • restitution of all things
Will we allow the quality moments in, that we may enjoy the quantity of life we live?

Apostle Jesse

Prophetic Word for Florida and Texas 2018

I find it amazing the different ways the Spirit of the Lord speaks to us. Since the beginning of this year 2018; I have been seeing and hearing different things from the Holy Spirit in a new and accelerated way.
Sometimes He speaks to me by a Word, Vision, or a Dream.   The revelation that I am about to share was given to me in a different pattern.
I liken it to the preaching of Stephen when he was sharing the story of  Moses
Acts 7:30 ¶ And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.
31 When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came unto him,

Sometimes the Lord does not immediately speak to us. He will draw us in by first getting our attention. It might not be a flame of fire, yet it will be something that causes us to look again and investigate. Then His voice will emerge to us.

The Lord had been unfolding the states of Texas and Florida. I noticed that there are a lot of anointed leaders moving to Texas. As I began to pray, I asked the Lord why were they moving. Some of them are leaving head positions on a Word from the Lord. A supernatural draw is calling their name to Texas. I will unfold what I felt from the Spirit of the Lord.

It all started when I noticed the number of anointed men and women of God getting ready to shift into the state of Texas. When I inquired of the Lord this is what I heard.

I am sending the re-enforcements to the State. There are many who have stood on the front lines but are now getting tired. I am sending them the help that they need to hold open the Heavens in places that have had great advancement. These servant leaders will not come in to take over, but will come in as supportive roles.
The Lord said " I am introducing to many the order of the Apostle Paul." They will enter into the state and into vineyards where they had not sown or plowed. They will serve the Barnabas that can confirm and affirm their call, anointing, character and assignment. After a period of time of serving many of these leaders who left pastoring, revivals, traveling internationally, will enter back into lead roles. They will enter in serving and will be refreshing to those they are assigned to serve.
Many of these leaders have dug cisterns and pools of  healing in other states and cities.

While praying for one Apostle on the phone as they had declared a move to Texas I had an open vision. I saw a very large angel standing with one foot in Texas and they other foot in the state that the Apostle currently operates in. I saw the Angel of the Lord take out His Sword and cut a grove in the ground from that state and cut all the way to Texas. A channel was made and the Lord said that they would not have to RE-DIG SPIRITUALLY. They were taking the RIVER of GOD with them.
I saw a TRANSFER from that state to Texas.
The Lord said He was gathering the NEW CLUSTERS TOGETHER.

The NEW and OLD Called out ones and sent ones MUST walk in Honor and Humility.
  • 1 The preceding must honor the up and coming and honor those sent to help.
  • 2 The preceding must acknowledge those who are fellow yolk men and not be intimidated
  • 3 Those new to the region must honor those who have already laid years of ground work.
  • 4 There must be GREAT HUMILITY in GROWING TOGETHER for the FRESH FLOW to CONTINUE to enter into many of the cities where prophets have been positioned by the Lord.
  • The spirit of competition must be EXPOSED and driven out in order for the FULLNESS of the GLORY to enter in.
Many of these places will grow into Apostolic Hubs and Training centers that will impact many regions in Texas and then branch out. San Antonio, the Lord has not forgotten you!

I also saw a very dark storm cloud and I heard the word "CRISIS ARISING." The Lord placed in my spirit that the state will need the humble anointed vessels to hold up the state in prayer, word and deed.

After visiting the state of Florida for Launch Conference with Apostle Jonas Clark in May I was stirred for the state. I saw things the Lord wanted to release to those who were Kingdom minded in Florida.
As I began to pray I heard the Lord say " Look deeper!" He then told me to look up the state bird.
Here is what I discovered.
The State bird for Florida is the Northern Mockingbird. Yet to my surprise this bird was not only the state bird for Florida but also for Texas.

As I began to look up the details of the Northern Mockingbird the Lord began to download to me.
I will give the traits and characteristics of this bird and then what the Lord showed me.

The name "Northern Mockingbird" means many tongued mimic. The northern mockingbird is known for its intelligence. A 2009 study showed that the bird was able to recognize individual humans, particularly noting those who had previously been intruders or threats.
Mockingbirds are bold in defense of their nests and territory and will attack intruders.
In a paper published in 2009, researchers found that mockingbirds were able to recall an individual human who, earlier in the study, had approached and threatened the mockingbirds' nest.
Researchers had one participant stand near a mockingbird nest and touch it, while others avoided the nest. Later, the mockingbirds recognized the intruder and exhibited defensive behavior, while ignoring the other individuals

Both male and female mockingbirds sing, with the latter being generally quieter and less vocal. Male commencement of singing is in late January to February and continues into the summer and the establishing of territory into the fall. Frequency in female singing is more sporadic, as it sings less often in the summer and fall, and only sings when the male is away from the territory. The mockingbird also possesses a large song repertoire that ranges from 43 to 203 song types and the size varies by region. Repertoire sizes ranged from 14 to 150 types in Texas, and two studies of mockingbirds in Florida rounded estimates to 134 and 200, approximately. It continually expands its repertoire during its life.

This is a short version of some of the traits and behaviors of the Northern Mockingbird.

I then heard these words. The mockery of the state of Florida was going to be strongly dealt with. That there had been a great mocking of the people of God, the Word of God and His Name and He was going to deal with this.
In the middle of this dealing He was raising up the worshipers who would have the Tongues of Angels  and learn the Songs of Heaven. A Holy Remnant is rising and it is coming out of a people that many would least expect. I heard the Lord say that the Haitian community is releasing a cry in Florida. This sound of brokenness is being heard in the Kingdom and He is releasing to those who have no agenda. He is bypassing mainstream Christianity and many who think they are in the know. He is not into their shows.
There will be unadulterated worship like never before.

In the same way the sound of the Kingdom is being released in Florida so it is in Texas. Yet many will miss the sound that is being released because it is not their culture releasing it. Many Spanish speaking Christians are crying out in Texas and I AM has heard their cry.
The songs that they are learning is growing and it is having an impact in the region.

I heard the Lord say that the Humble and Honorable shall be able to stand against the enemy and mark them. They will drive out those who mess with the nest or home.
They will learn how to drive out intruders.

Both of these states were going to produce men and women of God who can accurately reproduce for the Glory. They will have the tongue of the learned.
This is why there has been a great cross pollination between the two states because it has been a great staging season.

There are three other states Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee that have the Mockingbird as their state bird, but I did not hear for those states.

I know much of what is written here could almost be applied anywhere.
I believe that the Lord reveals specific things to cause the one He revealed it to pray and share specifically for those places.

Why Now? Those birds have been the state birds for a long time.
I believe the Lord used a natural picture to reveal what He is building in these regions so we can continue to agree with Him.

Apostle Jesse

Stay The Course

Isa 30:20 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: 21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

Deception, we don't intend on it to happen to us, but it can. Unaware of the results that wait on the other side of its influence, many find themselves lured in by a promise, a word, a person, a want, a dream, a desire etc. We can place just about anything in a long line of decisions that need to be made on a day to day basis. As we seek and pray for His will to become the center of our life we begin to see that we must walk on His Word and trust He knows what is best. Yet, as unintentional as it may be, disobedience can step in through deception. We whole heartedly want to obey God, but something slips in causing us to shift from His word. How did it happen?
Please read 1 Kings 13
In short we read the account of a man of God who was used by the Lord to prophesy, confirm the word with a sign, intercede for the king and instructed in what to do afterward. His prophesy spoke against king Jeroboam and the altar causing the king to try to lay his hand upon the prophet. When the king did, his hand dried up. The prophet prays and the kings hand is restored. The king offers a reward to the prophet. Yet the prophet had received a direct word in what he was to do.
1Ki 13:8 And the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place:1Ki 13:9 For so was it charged me by the word of the LORD, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest.
We see the same kind of response from the prophet Elisha to Gehazi after Naamans healing. Elisha rejected the blessing of Naaman 1 Kings 5:15 but Gehazi chased it down 1 Kings 5:20.Elisha rebukes Gehazi
2Ki 5:26 And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants?
The prophet must make sure that the one who receives a healing or sees a sign performed attributes it to God and not the messenger. After the great signs and wonders were done by this prophet there was no need for noteriety or conversation. It was the LORD who had spoken through His servant and confirmed it with signs and wonders. The Lord was protecting the prophet when He said
1Ki 13:9 For so was it charged me by the word of the LORD, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest.
So the man of God made it through test number one. By this time the word was out what events had taken place all throughout the region. The report finally reaches an old prophet who lived in Bethel and it stirred His interest.1 Kings13:11-13 His sons had brought the word to their father and had seen which way the prophet went. So the old prophet goes to get the young prophet. When the old prophet finds the young prophet under an oak tree.1 Kings 13:14 Now the word oak here is 'elah, ay-law' which means an oak or other strong tree. The prophet was abiding under a strong tree which very well may have been protecting him from the natural elements of the day. As he sat shielded from the sun in the natural, is the same way He sat under the shadow of the Almighty in the spirit realm. As he obeyed the Word of the Lord nothing could harm him. Then second test comes in 1 Kings 13:15 and the old prophet invites him to his home. In 1 Kings 13:16-17 The young prophet tells verbatim what he said to the king in vs. 9 Then the disobedience happens 1Ki 13:19 So he went back with him, and did eat bread in his house, and drank water. Why did the prophet pass test number one, only to fail test number two? THE KEY
1Ki 13:18 He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.
  • Identification: "I am a prophet also as thou art" Someone to relate with. The pull the young prophet must have felt. He just went through a great spiritual battle. Elijah felt all alone as if he were the last.1Ki 19:14 And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away. Even though he had gotten instruction he found someone who could relate.
  • spirtuality: "and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, Oh my, here is someone else who is having encounters with heaven.
  • Word: "saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water." Wow, I am hungry and thirsty. He is older than me so he must be seasoned. He had an angelic visitation and got a word for me. Yet the scripture concludes with "But he lied unto him."
  • How did the old prophet lie? Was the old prophet deceived himself? Was the angel a demon coming as a messenger of light, causing him to pursue the young prophet in deception? The enemy would have been very upset that the prophet was used of the Lord and would want to retaliate like Jezebel did Elijah.Maybe the enemy was thinking to use this old prophet because of his position to compel the young prophet to disobey God. Hence, the old prophet was deceived causing the younger to be deceived. Maybe he was a failed prophet. He had not seen the hand of the Lord move like that in His own life in some time and was wanting to hear the story firsthand as it would remind him of how the Lord used to use him. Yet to do this he manufactured a story to make it sound spiritual. Beings he was a prophet it is possible his sons may have been prophets as well. When they came and told him the story of what the man of God had done, he may have played up their role to make it more than it was.
The word angel is mal'ak, mal-awk'
meaning to despatch as a deputy; a messenger; specifically, of God, i.e. an angel (also a prophet, priest or teacher):--ambassador, angel, king, messenger.
This same word is translated messenger in Ge 32:6, Nu 20:14,Jos 6:17,Jg 6:35 and several other places in the Old Covenant. Is it possible he played on his sons words who then may have suggested to their father to bring home the young prophet. It is clear that the Lord would not have contradicted himself and sent an angel from his presence to release a contrary word. So deception was present. Whether the old prophet himself was deceived, or his motives were wrong in trying to get the young prophet to his home can be debated. The key here is that the young prophet was moved to step off of his conviction and follow a lie. It cost him his life.
1Ki 13:24 And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase.
It would appear that the old prophet still had the ability to hear God due to the fact he prophesies accurately in 1 Kings 13:20-21 the death of the young prophet. So let us remember It is two fold. Someone may be the younger prophet starting their journey in the Lord. Someone may be the older prophet sitting on the sidelines.
  • To the younger prophets obey the word of the Lord. Be on guard
    1. those who appear more spiritual
    2. Those who have words opposite of what the Lord told you
  • To the older prophets repent of error and stop being a stumbling block to those who are being used. They may be young and weak in their walk but they need your experience to encourage them onto perfection. Repent over your failures and ask the Lord to return you to a place of usefulness. It would appear that the old prophet may have been brought back on course due to the death of this young prophet. In vs 30 the old prophet says " Alas, my brother" This was used according to the notes I found, for those who had untimely deaths or premature deaths. Just maybe the older prophet was convicted.
MAY WE FIND THE WAY WE ARE TO GO, AND NOT RETURN BY THE WAY WE CAME

Speaking God's Doctrine

De 32:1 Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distill as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:
3 Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God.

This passage of scripture is a wonderful picture of showing us how we must handle the Word of God. If we just look at the surface of the Word we will miss the beauty of the inner depths of truth to be revealed to us. I would like to describe four levels, as revealed in this passage, by which we can use to preach and teach the Word of the Lord.

Notice that in verse one the heavens and the earth are being requested to hear what is being said. We must understand that as anointed vessels, the words that we speak are impacting both in the natural as well as in the spiritual realm.
Heb 12:1 ¶ Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Ec 10:20 Curse not the king, no not in thy thought; and curse not the rich in thy bedchamber: for a bird of the air shall carry the voice, and that which hath wings shall tell the matter.
Who is the the bird of the air?  We know that it is the enemy as depicted in
Mt 13:4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:
Mt 13:19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

So we can see that heavenly places hear our words and actions as well as what is spoken to us.
There is power in the spoken Word of God. This is why the enemy works so hard to shut down the truly anointed and those who have true Kingdom Authority. It is the only weapon that the believer has to bring real change into the Earth Realm.
Eph 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

What are we to be releasing into the Heavens and the Earth? DOCTRINE.

Doctrine- something received, instruction, whether on the part of the teacher or hearer, to take, carry away; to attract or gain over the heart by eloquence or persuasive speech.

There are different levels of release of doctrine as described in Deuteronomy 32:2. They are:
  1. Rain
  2. Dew
  3. Small Rain
  4. Showers
Each level of release has a different impact on the Earth.

1. RAIN- My doctrine shall drop as the rain. Even as the rain begins slowly drop by drop I shall pour out until the fullness of the revelation comes. Until there is a full release of this doctrine that I carry, it shall pour out drop by drop.

Dew-My speech shall distill as the dew.

2. Dew- a. Water droplets condensed from the air, usually at night, onto cool surfaces from water vapor in the air.
b. Something moist, fresh, pure, or renewing:
Distill- means to drip or trickle. This is a soft release and is gentler than the rain. Here is a description of being gentle with revelation. A picture of giving out silently in a way that refreshes without being overwhelming. Dew only clings to cool surfaces in the night hour. It shows a picture of those who may be getting cold in the things of the Lord who need refreshing. Many times people are stuck in their journey and just need to be refreshed while they are getting on course with God.

3. Small Rain- as the small rain upon the tender herb.
Tender Herbs- are sprouts. New converts.
The small rain is a tempestuous storm. At times it will be necessary to display the Sovereignty and the Authority of God even upon those who are young as to bring the fear of the Lord.

4. Showers- as the showers upon the grass. Showers speaks of an accumulation of drops of water. A full weightiness of the revelation pouring out on the people. At this point there is no holding back. Ready or not here it comes. Even as the Heavens release the water in the clouds even now I must speak the fullness of truth.
Some say that this is a culminating even to the point of the revelation bringing wrath even as the spoken Word brought the curses upon Egypt.

Dt. 32:3 Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God.

AS we go forth proclaiming the Gospel, let us use discernment to determine at what level we are to release the Word of the Lord

The Power of Authority

Being called by the Lord Jesus Christ to a position of Authority is not easy. Even after many years of study, experiences, revelation, impartation, and witnessing the wonders of God one must still ask, "am I ruling wisely?"

Walking in authority is not just a position, but it is a demonstration of the mind, heart, will and nature of  Jesus Christ.

In His letter to Corinth Paul many times had to defend His right and authority to preach the Gospel.Yet He understood why He was in position. Do we understand why Christ has put us in our position? Many leaders do not. Look at what Paul says
2Co 10:8 For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:

He says that our ( meaning the Apostles ) authority was FOR EDIFICATION, and not FOR DESTRUCTION. If we do not understand what the word edify means we will miss the context of this passage. Edification here means literally building.

oikodome architecture, (concretely) a structure; figuratively, confirmation:--building, edify

Literally He is saying' " all we want to do is to build you up in the things of the Lord!"
What Christ has given us is not to destroy you, but to build you up.

Our responsibility is to BE BUILDERS! So many want to be rulers, but in order to rule well, we must know how to build.  Where do the saints need to be built?
  • Jude 1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
  • 1Pe 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ
  • Col 2:6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
  •  Eph 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
As leaders we are to be the sweet savour of Christ in the Earth. A sweet savour means a good scent, fragrance or aroma.  Death stinks, yet many speak words that kill and destroy. We are to Speak Life.

2Co 2:15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?

For those who want life, when we produce life, it will bring them life. For those who want death, when we produce life, it will produce death in them. We must allow God to do what He will do and we must be producers of Life.
We must shake off the negative, angry, and backbiting spirits that come. They want us to kill our own. PRODUCE LIFE! Let the Word of the Lord be activated. For those who want what is right, it will produce a Harvest in them.

If we do not properly convey the mind of Christ and His will through His nature, we will begin to lose the credibility of our authority. This can only be done by the enabling Power of the Holy Spirit and a willingness to agree with the Lord.
When the Lord calls us into a position it is not to destroy, but to preserve. Many times when individuals enter into a position the first thing that happens is a critical and or judgmental spirit will try to get on a person. We must allow the Grace of the Holy Spirit to help us begin to mold and shape those who the Lord calls us to impart to.
We must work to not let impatience and or frustration to set in. Because if we do,  rather than build people , we will destroy them with our words.

1Co 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

We must take heed how we are building up the people of God.

Apostle Jesse

Five Things Not To Do Against the Holy Spirit

So many people cry out, "we need a move of God!" Yet when it happens they do not know what to do. No one can say they have an edge on God.
We are all learning and growing in understanding and obedience.

There are though warnings of what not to do in the Bible when the Holy Spirit shows up.
I would like to share five things not to do in a move of God.

Five things not to do against the Holy Spirit

1. Blasphemy- Mt 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
What is blasphemy? It is attributing the working power of God by the Holy Spirit to Satan. It actually brings a person to a denial of Christ. When the Pharisees saw the workings of Messiah and attributed it to Satan, they rejected the Redeemer.

2. Lie- Ac 5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
Pretending to do one thing while doing another. God knows all and sees all. When the move of God is present there is nothing hidden. He will expose every detail of a persons heart and make it manifest.

3. Tempt- Ac 5:9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.
To tempt the Holy Spirit means to test. Ananias and Sapphira pretended to sell the land for so much money and give all to the church. Yet they kept part of it. So many people are pretending to give God their all and yet they are keeping a portion of things unto themselves. On the surface it looks like they are all sold out, but God knows they are testing Him!

4. Quench- 1Th 5:19 Quench not the Spirit. To quench the Spirit means to extinguish. This same word is the word sbennumi used in Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
If we extinguish the Fire of the Holy Spirit we will not be able to extinguish the fiery darts of the wicked. Yet so many deny the power of the Holy Spirit. Fan the FLAMES of the Holy Spirit church!

5. Grieve- Eph 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. To grieve the Spirit means to bring into distress or sorrow. The roll of the Holy Spirit is to guide and lead us, to instruct us and bring us to Yeshua. When we resist it brings a grieving or a sadness because The Spirit brings us into the desires of the Father. Let us listen for His Promptings and leadings that we may be transformed into the image of the Son of God.

One way many people are doing these things is by the rejection of the true servants of the Lord. There is a lot of counterfeit out there, but God still has a REMNANT!

Closing Scripture

Lu 11:49 Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:

Be wise church. God is still displaying His power and He is using people to do it. When the true representation of the Kingdom is present, to do the five things listed above will cause one to be in a fight against God Himself.

When people persecute the servants, they persecute God.
