Wings of Healing

Do we believe that the Lord truly wants to heal us?  Unfortunately, many do not believe or have faith that God wants to restore their soul.
An unhealed hard hearted person cannot grow in the Lord.

We might grow in knowledge,
wisdom, understanding, finance, business but never develop in relationship with the Lord.
A hard heart hinders our walk with God and others.

We must do a self inspection to see if we are experiencing what the Apostle Paul wrote Timothy

2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

When we read the preceding verses we see individuals with heart conditions not conducive for Christ to shape and mold.

This list tells us of perilous times and the type of people it will produce.

They include:

1. Men that are llovers of their own selves
2. covetous
3. boasters
4. proud
5. blasphemers
6. disobedient to parents
7. unthankful
8. unholy
9. Without natural affection
10. trucebreakers
11. false accusers
12. incontinent
13. fierce
14. despisers of those that are good
15. Traitors
16. heady
17. highminded
18. lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God
19.  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power (thereof: from such turn away)
These are hypocrites and charlatans.

Pretenders that seduce others for their own gain rather than having influence to the benefit of others.

20. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

One can keep learning and not receive what they know due to a hard heart and wrong motives.

An unhealed person is unable to reflect agape love. Instead, wounded hearts will release judgment, criticism, accusation and pride.
A healed person's heart knows how to give mercy, forgiveness and humility.

In the Book of Malachi we read a prophecy showing the hope Israel was to have in the coming days for their redemption and vindication.

In Malachi 4 2  But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

We see the Sun of Righteousness rising with HEALING on behalf of them that fear the Name of the LORD.

When He rises, He will
1. Cover
2. Heal
3. Cause productivity (Go Forth)
4. Generate Growth. (Grow Up)

If a person is paralyzed from going and growing it could be a sign they are not healed.

When we read about Joseph, the Word says he PROSPERED.
While he was in prison he GREW UP.
The word prosper literally is a picture of a bowl with raised edges that is able to hold its content.
Had Joseph not been whole intern he would never have handled the challenges he faced externally.
According to history and the word, Joseph was beautiful inside and handsome outside.

When we allow God to heal us, we are able to face the worst in people that mishandled us.

Many do not grow in the Lord due to hurt, pain, abuse, trauma, and other influences that left impressions on their soul.

Although there is mental understanding, the soul of a person never receives what the mind knows due to a calloused heart.

Allowing forgiveness to flow for self and toward others will expedite the healing process and grant a person a new life of freedom.

Matthew 6:14  For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

15  But if you forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

When our hearts are hard, we stop forgiving and praying for others.
Eventually our hearts grow so hard we stop asking God to forgive us.

Know that the Lord desires to heal us.

The question is, are we willing to let Him?

In His Love,
