I have come to the conclusion that what is important to many in the apostolic and prophetic communities really is not as heavy on Gods heart.
We live in a season where doctrines and teachings are being taught to validate, verify, authenticate people in their perspective offices.
Many times it is done in the spirit of anger and bitterness due to long seasons of dealing with unbelief from churches, ministries, family, friends and people saved and unsaved.
When the center of teaching revolves around hurt, anger and rejection, it releases another spirit.
As the Apostles walked with the Lord and He was rejected, they wanted to take action.
Luke 9:53 And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.
54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elijah did?
55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.
56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.
They went to another village! Even though one place rejects, let the Holy Spirit redirect.
Shake of the dust and keep moving.
Keep sharing, teaching and doing good deeds.
Taking on an us versus them mentality is very counterproductive.
One must develop an us for them mindset.
If not, then the work and ministry is already being built incorrect.
Deep healing and restoration is needed in order to be truly effective in the work of ministry.
The servant is not above his master.
A disciple is not greater than his teacher.
We will experience persecution amd rejection.
The fight to persuade others about who they are in a calling can be rooted in being self centered more than Christ centered.
This could go for any office or gift, but has become an ear mark for many still coming into the awareness of five fold ministry especially apostles and prophets.
The abandonment and rejection felt from people can cause one to make all of their teachings to work to get others to believe in them or ministry.
This is not Kingdom Order.
We are given the ministry and the Word of reconciliation to get others to believe in Christ.
In the same way that no one can see the Father without the Son and the Father reveals the Son, so it is with those who He calls.
Jesus said John 14: 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
If they do not believe the word can they see the works?
When John the Baptizer was preparing the way the scripture says he did not do one miracle. His design was to point to the One.
Had he done one miracle, they might have called him Messiah.
John 10:41
And many came to Him and were saying, "John indeed did no sign, but everything that John said about this man was true."
Can we say that everything we say and even do is true? Can we say we are true in pointing to Christ and our example?
The design of the ministers of the Lord is to create a place for the Glory of God where His Name can be called upon and His Word taught.
Not just teach on how those ministries come from God so men are convinced about them.
If God cannot convince His people our flesh will do very little.
Peter was commended in identifying Christ as the Son of God.
Matthew 16: 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
We can spend a load of time teaching people things they will never see nor believe unless Heaven reveals it.
May we live out Kingdom Order here in the Earth that reflect the Fullness of who He is and wants us to teach.
May we come into a place of demonstration where we can say "at least believe us for the works"
In His Service,
Jesse Griffin
