Corporate Intercession

When we are called to pray we must learn the different approaches to intercession.
Not every prayer meeting will look the same.

We must understand our position and authority when we pray.
We must understand our sphere, metron, bishoprick or territory.
We must know the level of authority on those we are laboring with.
We must understand while everyone can pray not everyone can speak from the Kingdom to the Earth.

Are we to travail, groan, birth to release change?
Are we to repent?
Are we to decree and declare and speak to mountains?
Are we to supplicate?
Are we to make inquiry?
Are we to cry, wail, lament or mourn?
Are we to prophesy?

To many times emotionalism and feelings can overide the desire of the Holy Spirit based on what we like versus what is needed.
When we like a certain flow we can begin to quench and grieve the Holy Spirit when He is trying to move us in heart and spirit to see, hear and then speak on a new or different level.

Prayer groups can become conditioned to operating in a certain way as a path has been made spiritually over the years that becomes too familiar.
Intercessors can become familiar losing the reverance and fear of the Lord.
There must be a standing on guard against becoming lifted, prideful, arrogant believing they are the all knowing go to point for everything God.

True intercession invites the Holy Spirit that opens the door to the prophetic.
That means people see and hear and may even flow under unction to speak.
Yet this does not mean that these vessels stand in offices as prophets.

Many prayer groups come under strong demonic backlash as these well meaning prayer warriors violate spiritual protocols that would have kept them safe under the Shadow of the Almighty.

We must keep an open sensitivity to what is on the heart of God and what burden He wants to place on our prayer assignments.
We must stay our lane in calling, offices, assignment, anointing and experience.

Find out before the Lord as you begin the assignment.

1. What do we need to repent over? Any unrepentant sin allows for accusation from the enemy. Does anyone present have issue with another person in the room?
Do the individuals present have clean hands and a pure heart?

2. Who are we to pray for? What is the motive? Are we praying vindictively or out of wounds hurt or rejection about a situation or person or out of the mind of Christ?

3. Are we to pray, intercede, make petitions, inquire, supplicate, wail ...etc? What should our posture be?
 1 Timothy 2:1  I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

4. What is the mood of the Lord? What does He want to hear for praise and worship?

Does He want just the voices of the people? Does He need High Praise just devoting Thankgiving to Him? Does He want soft worship? Does He need us to warfare or does He want us to be still and know that He is God?

a. Exodus 14:14 Hold your peace
b. Judges 1:1-2 Judah goes first

5. Ask the Lord to reveal His intercession from Heaven.
Romans 8:34 Christ is at the Right hand of God making intercession for us. One of the greatest ways to breakthrough is to surrender, agree with His Word and what His intercession is for us.

6. Ask for the mind of Christ. The carnal mind is enmity toward God. Romans 8:7
To pray from the flesh goes no further than the distance the person voice can be heard. It. carries no anointing or authority because it resists the wisdom of God.
Has everything that exalts itself above the knowledge been cast down by those present including in our own minds.

7. Is there a genuine surrender? James 4:7  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8  Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

8. Are there spirits of usurption, undermining, elitism, competition, division, segregation, gossip, slander, isolation, racism, feminism, male ego in operation?
If these are in the midst it will not be long before the spirits of assumption and speculation tear the meeting apart.

9. Is there Love, Peace and Grace present? Is Shalom present where the desire is to make sure there is nothing missing, broken or lacking with everyone?
Is restoration amd reconciliation both vertical and horizontal?

10. Who gets the Glory? He gives us His Glory that we might be one with Him not highlight ourselves, gifts, callings or group.

In His Love,
Apostle Jesse
